Choir Director
Blake Rosser is a graduate assistant in Choral Conducting at WIU where he studies with Dr. Brian J. Winnie. Prior to moving to Macomb, he taught 7th and 8th grade choral music at Novi Middle School in Novi, MI and high school choral music and learning skills within the Walled Lake School District in Walled Lake, MI. In addition, Blake founded the Oakland County Chamber Choir, an auditioned sixteen member chorus focusing on bringing life to music throughout music history. Recently, he joined the Constellation Men's Ensemble and Beyond Choral Ensemble, two professional choruses with the goal of bringing life to new music. Blake holds a Bachelor of Music degree in education from Oakland University where he studied under the baton of Dr. Michael Mitchell and Dr. Gregory Cunningham. Blake is a proud member of the American Choral Directors Association and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
